About SmallBiz AI Tools
An independent small project reviewing AI tools for small businesses.
SmallBiz AI Tools is an independent, small project that reviews AI and automation tools for small businesses and e-commerce owners, with a UK-friendly perspective.
Why this site exists
There are thousands of AI tools, and most "best of" lists are written for big companies or are thin on detail. We focus on what matters to a business of one to twenty people: what a tool actually does in plain English, whether there's a free plan, what it really costs as you grow, and whether it's worth the time to set up.
Who runs it
The site is run independently by a small editorial team of one. We're not owned by, or partnered with, any of the software companies we cover. We don't have a newsroom, testimonials or industry awards to show you, and we won't pretend otherwise.
How we work
- We score every ranked tool on the same public rubric.
- We check specific facts, such as prices and plan limits, on official vendor pages and date them.
- We say when a tool isn't a good fit for small businesses.
- We update rankings at least quarterly.
How the site is funded
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That keeps the site free and ad-free. It doesn't affect our scores. See our affiliate disclosure.
