Privacy

Privacy policy

Short and simple: no cookies, no tracking, no profiles.

Summary

We don't use cookies, we don't run advertising or tracking scripts, and we don't build profiles of visitors. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count page views.

Analytics

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use client-side state such as cookies or localStorage to collect usage metrics, and does not fingerprint individuals via their IP address, user agent or other data. We see aggregated information such as page views, referring sites and countries; we can't identify you from it.

Hosting and server logs

Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies, so there's no cookie banner. If you follow a link to another website, that site may set its own cookies; that is covered by its own privacy policy.

Affiliate links

When you click a "Visit" link, you leave our site. If it's an affiliate link, the vendor or its affiliate network may record the click, typically with a cookie on their own domain, so they can credit us if you buy. That's covered by their privacy policies, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure.

Email

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't add you to any mailing list.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights over your personal data, including access and deletion. Because we hold very little, the main case is email correspondence: contact us and we'll help. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
